An amazing experience
Thank you all for an amazing experience. Post breast cancer (mastectomy, chemo, radiotherapy, the whole bundle), I wasn't feeling particularly feminine. A friend suggested a Boudiour shoot, something she had done to help her come to terms with her new body. At first I thought it was a crazy idea, but eventually I booked an appointment. I was so nervous when I arrived, wondering what they'd think of me, and what I was doing. All the staff were amazing, so friendly and made me feel at ease immediately. I explained my story (I didn't want to scare anyone), and the girls were fabulous. No one laughed at me (which I was expecting), and the actual shoot was so much fun, although I think I'm laughing in most of the pictures When I went back to view the pictures I couldn't believe it was me. There were tears, tissues and hugs as I couldn't believe I could ever look like that feminine again. I can't explain what a boost it's given me, I'm learning to accept and appreciate myself again. I can't thank the staff enough, all of them, they were more like friends than complete strangers. For anyone going through similar, just do it, have fun and love who you are.

Attended Mackney after getting a photo shoot in the New Year, we haven't many nice pictures of the 5 of us and thought this would be a good opportunity. The shoot was great fun and the photographer and her assistant were patient and got the best smiles out of our children. Collected the pictures today and am more than pleased; super quality and will look fab in our home. Would recommend Mackney to anyone wanting to capture their family!
